Marlene Susan Cissa (Pohlman)
MARLENE S. CISSA, 67 of Johnson Creek passed away January 4, 2017 at her home in Johnson Creek. She was born on November 14, 1949 in Jefferson, daughter of the late Henry and Margaret (Weber) Pohlman. She married Richard Cissa on December 21, 1984; he preceded her in death on April 3, 2010.
Marlene was employed at AT&T in Madison and Milwaukee for 28 + years.
She had also worked at Redding’s Restaurant, Schweiger Industries, and Pine Cone. She was a member of St. Mary Magdalene Catholic Church in Johnson Creek. Marlene enjoyed going to Craft Fairs and her many trips to Door County for Cranberry Fest.
She loved to spend time with her children and grandchildren and great grandchildren.
She will be deeply missed by her family; children Thomas (Jane Bemis) Burns of Johnson Creek,
Theodore Burns of Johnson Creek, Tracey Burns of Watertown,
Theresa (Justin Fredrick) Burns of Johnson Creek, 5 step-children, 24 grandchildren,
And 9 Great grandchildren. Sisters Joanne (Roger) Gross of Fort Atkinson, Beverly Winter of Watertown, Patricia Zupet of Johnson Creek. Brother Gerald Pohlman of Janesville.
She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband Richard Cissa, Sister Rosie Gottschalk,
Brothers Larry Pohlman, Frederick Pohlman, and Franklin Pohlman.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 12:00 noon on Tuesday January 10 at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Jefferson with the Rev. Thomas Coyle & Rev. David Wanish officiating.
Visitation will be from 4:00-7:00 p.m. on Monday January 9, 2017 at the Schneider-Michaelis funeral home in Jefferson and then again on Tuesday morning at the church from 10:30 a.m. until the time of Mass.
