Frances Marion Kaus
FRANCES MARION VOIGHT KORTH KAUS of Jefferson passed away Tuesday January 31, 2017 at her home in Jefferson. She was born on January 4, 1922 on the family farm near Waterloo, Wisconsin to the late Alvin and Ida (Hanke) Voight.
Frances loved her family she also enjoyed gardening, flowers and food. She love to bake, her family estimates that she baked over 320 batches of molasses cookies that she gave to others.
She was a member of Immanuel United Methodist church in Jefferson.
She loved her gardens and spent many hours “playing” in her yard. She also loved bunnies and Bingo. Frances worked at Moore’s Seafood/McCain Food until her retirement at the age of 75; she had many special friends that she made there.
She will be deeply missed by her family; 3 sons Gerald (Bev) Korth of Jefferson,
Larry (Donna) Korth of Mesquite, TX, Greg Kaus of Fort Atkinson.
6 grandchildren; Susan (Lee) Moldenhauer, Kenneth (Laurie) Korth, Daniel (Dianne) Korth,
Ryan Korth,Travis (Stephanie) Korth, Christa (Brady) Standefer.
12 great-grandchildren; Bret (Katie) Moldenhauer, Erin (Matt) Meinel, Sara Moldenhauer,
Dustin Moldenhauer, Lindsay Ollis, Nolan Ollis, Avery Ollis, Morgan Korth, Lucas Korth, Emmerson Korth, Gwen Korth and baby on the way.
Siblings; Pearl Renz of Fort Atkinson, Robert (Luella) Voight of Helenville.
Many special nieces, nephews and friend Dave Rickett.
Frances was preceded in death by her husbands’ Edward Korth, Herman Kaus, special and beloved friend John Dettmann.

In compliance with Frances’ wishes a Prayer Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday February 11, 2017 at the Schneider-Michaelis Funeral Home in Jefferson with Pastor Kevin Niebuhr officiating, burial will be at the Rock Lake Cemetery at a later date.
Visitation will be at the funeral home on Saturday the 11th, from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service. Those wishing to give a memorial in Frances' name may direct them to Immanuel United Methodist Church, Rainbow Hospice, or Tomorrow’s Hope.
No tears keep smiling and the sun will shine through.
Remember the best times the laughter.
Remember go on with your life.
Don’t just stare at the wall.
