Obituary for William Jonathan "Bill" Schmoldt

William Jonathan "Bill"  Schmoldt
WILLIAM “BILL” JONATHAN SCHMOLDT, age 65, passed away suddenly but peacefully at his Jefferson home on Friday, October 13, 2017. Bill was born in Milwaukee, WI on June 11, 1952, the youngest son of Lester and Maybelle Schmoldt. A graduate of Boys Technology and Trade School in Milwaukee, he made a career as a machinist.
Bill married his wife Patti (Patricia), on September 29, 1973, and together they raised a family. One of his greatest joys in life was becoming a grandfather when little Benjamin was born, followed by Andy and then Emma. Nothing made him smile more than little ones jumping on the big bed and being silly or tearing through a stack of presents on Christmas Eve.
Bill is survived by his wife, Patti; his children, Robin (Adam Wiesenfarth) Schmoldt, Wendy (Eric) Oehler, Julie (Benjamin) Allred, and William P. Schmoldt;
Grandchildren, Benjamin Allred, Andy Allred, and Emma Wiesenfarth;
Brother-in-law Leonard Lazzaro and sister-in-law Chris Lazzaro; nieces Jennifer Lazzaro, Heather (Scott) Shanks, Carmen Therriault, Krystel Therriault, and nephews Lee Schmoldt, Joshua (Rachell) Therriault and Anton Therriault; and extended family.
He was preceded in death by his parents, infant daughter Mary, Brother Edward Schmoldt and nephew Brian Lazzaro.
Visitation will be held at the Schneider-Michaelis funeral home in Jefferson on Wednesday, October 18th, 2017 from 5:30-6:30pm, to be followed by a brief family eulogy service at 6:30pm.

Visit, www.schneidermichaelisfuneralhome.com to leave a condolence or light a candle in his memory.
