Dale Ladd Russell
DALE L. RUSSELL age 76 of Jefferson passed away peacefully at his home surrounded by family on December 28, 2017. He was born on December 26, 1941 to Marion and Arline (Freemore) Russell.
He married Betty Bernhardt on June 4, 1960 at Tomah WI.
Dale was employed at Friskies Purina Pet Foods in Jefferson for 35 years retiring in 2000.
He loved to cook and bake sharing his food with many people. Dale had a great sense of humor and enjoyed making people laugh. He especially enjoyed spending time with his family.
He will be deeply missed by his family, wife Betty Russell of Jefferson, son Randy Russell of Jefferson,
Daughter Jodi (Brad) Knueppel of Lake Mills. Grandchildren Nathan (Yuu) Russell, Sarah Russell, Riley Knueppel, Blaise Knueppel. Brother Rick (Jeannine) Russell of Tomah, sister-in-law Alice (Alred) Schmitz of Norwalk, WI, many nieces, nephews other relatives and many friends.
He is preceded in death by his sister and brother in law Cherone “Chick” (Dick) Miller, and brother-in-law John Berendes.
A gathering to celebrate Dale’s life and to share memories will be held from 1:00-5:00 p.m. on January 20, 2018 at Fairview Inn in Jefferson.
Memorial may be given to Jefferson Rainbow Hospice in Dale’s name.
