Betty Jean Eisele (Zifka)
BETTY J. EISELE age 95, of Jefferson passed away at Alden Estates of Jefferson Sunday February 18, 2018. She was born on March 26, 1922 in Fennimore WI daughter of the late Walter and Helen “Amy” (Marburger) Zifka. She married Fredrick Eisele on June 8, 1941 in Fennimore, he preceded her in death on October 21, 1992. She and Fred moved to Jefferson in 1952, together they owned and operated the Eisele’s Grocery Store in Jefferson for 31 years retiring in 1982. Betty then worked for the Jefferson School’s for 22 years as the Food Service Supervisor for the District. She was a member of Immanuel United Methodist church in Jefferson and an active member of the Women’s group.
She is survived by her family; daughters Patricia (David) Hachtel of fort Atkinson, Constance Freeberg of Jefferson, son Richard (Pamela) Eisele of Spring Grove, IL.
Grandchildren Ty (Niki) Hachtel, Jason (Nicci) Hachtel, Danielle (Scott) Fossum, Thomas (Sabrina) Freeberg, Lance (Erin) Eisele, Brooke (Tyler) Schultz, Jacob Eisele, Chad Eisele.
12 great grandchildren. She is also preceded in death by her daughter Sharon Ann Eisele, and sisters Arlene Freymiller, and Dorothy SaLee.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday February 23, 2018 with the Rev. Kellen Roggenbuck presiding. Burial will follow in the Prairie Cemetery in Fennimore. Visitation will be at the Immanuel United Methodist Church in Jefferson, on Friday the 23rd, from 10:00- 11:00 a.m.
